My Inspiration

I’m a forever daydreamer and I’m obsessed with the idea of my art providing a “feeling” to the viewer. Life is hard. We can get lost in the mundane. It’s my hope that my work provides a fun escape from the things weighing people down and takes the viewer to an easier place in their mind. I want to provide hope, inspiration and a little bit of magic in my pieces.

My Background

I grew up in Covington, Georgia, raised by two of the hardest working people I’ll ever know. Communication has always been my weakness. I feel things hard and express them poorly.

My junior year in high school, I was kicked out of a class for mouthing off one too many times. The only class available was an art class. The art teacher saw something in a journal assignment and helped teach me techniques and mediums that provided a much-needed outlet in my life. I studied Fine Arts at Georgia Southern University, where I furthered my techniques and laid out the foundation that is my style and artistic voice.

I am now married to a fellow creative spirit and we have a daughter who is my greatest motivation for being more true to who I am; instead of what the world wants me to be.
